A musical story.

MIHAEL - Mihael Hrustelj (1991) is a Slovenian guitarist, singer, composer and poet. His early glimpses of musical creativity began with metal and rock bands, which later evolved into playing in big bands and jazz-rock fusion groups in Slovenia. After seriously taking up the guitar, he abandoned the idea of becoming a pilot and instead immersed himself in classical music. As a classical guitar player, he began to explore the power of the classical guitar sound and started attending international classical guitar competitions. His solo career started in 2012, and since then, he has had the opportunity to tour and perform in several European countries and festivals, including Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Croatia, and Slovenia. He has also performed outside Europe, with his regular tours in East Asia, particularly in Taiwan, being the most notable.

After living in the Netherlands for ten years, where he also graduated in music at the Conservatorium in Rotterdam, he recently returned to Slovenia. There, he enjoys not only his work but also the rich nature, drawing inspiration from the mountains and forests around him and the depth of Slovenia’s musical cultural legacy. His studio is located in the woods in the northern part of Slovenia, enabling him to take regular mountain hikes and enjoy barefoot walks in the forest. As one of the more influential rising musicians in the Slovenian underground scene, with nine albums, acclaimed collaborations, positive international and local reviews from critics and musicians, and a significant number of live shows and tours under his belt, he remains loyal to his calling to make music.
